Sola Scriptura- "by scripture alone," means that the Bible is our highest authority, but not our only authority.

First of all you sound like Johnnie Cochran.

Second of all Sola Scriptura holds the Bible as the original authority and over all other views or writings. This orginal authority is held as the litmus test for authenticating any secondary authorities. In this sense it is our only authority.

Prima Scriptura is better interpreted as the scripture being the highest authority.

Yes, I think it is our litmus test. Yea, I guess you could say it is our only authority in way, but as opposed to Solo Scriptura, I think Sola Scriptura is the correct viewing of the Bible. If (insert favorite Bible teacher's name here) says that "this" is right, then you check to see if the Bible says that it is. But you cant look to the bible to see how to do brain surgery of how to deep sea dive.
That's the point I was trying to make, that other God-inspired stuff can be found outside the Bible, and even in the "secular" if you will.
