I'm reading this book called The Sabbath by Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel. It's pretty intense stuff, very weighty, but I have managed to pull out this great line of reasoning quoted from Aristotle, "we need relaxation, because we cannot work continuously. Relaxation then is not an end, it is for the sake of activity." Now that I can hold on to, that I can learn from and dwell on and make it a maxim for my life. Thanks Aristotle for your inspiration!
