One of the greatest lines ever spoken in cinematic history; right up there with the likes of "May the force be with you," or "I love the smell of napalm in the morning," and "Here's looking at you, kid."

But now Robert Mundell, the Nobel Prize winning economist and MIT grad, says that Taxi Driver is the most significant wealth earning film in history. He says it directly and indirectly generated between 5 to 15 trillion dollars of output to the U.S. economy in the late eighties. Wonder how? Check out his theory here.
